Human Resource Management

3.Scope of studies: 

  • the HR function in the organization, 
  • the organization’s HR strategy, 
  • selection, evaluation, development, remuneration and dismissal of employees,  
  • competence management, 
  • labour law, 
  • staff administration, 
  • coaching and mentoring, 
  • interpersonal communication, 
  • team building. 

4. Target audience: 

The offer of post-graduate studies is directed not only to HR department employees, personal counsellors, line managers, but to all those interested in human resources management issues. 

5. Aim of studies: 

The aim of the Human Resource Management studies is to provide its participants with up-to-date knowledge and skills enabling them to carry out their own strategic analysis of the company in order to build and implement an HR policy. This task requires, on the one hand, knowledge about modern methods of personnel selection, training, motivating, social and psychological rules of people’s functioning in organizations as well as legal conditions of their operation. On the other hand, an HR specialist or manager is required to have – apart from the knowledge of tools and their skilful application – some interpersonal competences predisposing them to work in the profession. 

6. Learning outcomes: 

Upon completion of the post-graduate studies, the graduate:                                

  • plans and organizes basic activities carried out under the HR function and implement changes in the existing human resources management system, which will make it possible to increase the effectiveness of this area of management,                                                                                 
  • assesses the effectiveness of the human resources management solutions applied,                                                                                   
  • sets strategic objectives for human resource management and applies human resource planning methods in practice,                                                                                
  • functions and communicates effectively in both field and interdisciplinary teams,                                                                              
  • solves human resources management problems on an independent basis,                                                                                                  
  • performs new functions and roles in a team in an effective way,                            
  • knows the methods and procedures of selected operational activities in the field of human resources management,  
  • integrates knowledge in order to formulate and solve human resources management tasks, 
  • has a general knowledge on development trends in human resources management useful in applying innovation and building a competitive advantage.

Min. 15 participants 

8. Duration time: 

Two semesters
 
9. Required documents/recruitment rules: 

  • university degree (first- and second-cycle degree programmes), 
  • completed registration form, 
  • payment of the first installment for studies.

PLN 4,000 (it is possible to pay in four installments)
