1991 By the resolution of the Senate of Lodz University of Technology of 24 April 1991, the Faculty of Organization and Management was established. The Faculty was set up on the basis of the Institute of Organization and Management, existing in various organizational forms, in the structure of the Textile Faculty of TUL since 1954.
1992 By resolution of the Senate of Lodz University of Technology of 28 September 1992, the Management and Marketing field of study was transferred from the Branch of Lodz University of Technology in Bielsko Biała to the Faculty of Organization and Management.
1994 By the resolution of the Faculty Council of 2 February 1994, the International Faculty of Engineering of Lodz University of Technology launched Master’s studies in the field of management and marketing – Business and Technology with English as the language of instruction.
1997 By the decision of the Central Commission for the Academic Title and Scientific Degrees of April 28, 1997, the Faculty was authorized to award the academic degree of doctor of economic sciences in the discipline of Management.
1997 By the resolution of the Faculty Council of 26 March 1997, the International Faculty of Engineering of Lodz University of Technology launched Master’s studies in the field of management and marketing – Gestion et technologie with French as the language of instruction.
1999 By the Resolution of the Senate No. 1/99 of 24 March 1999, engineering studies in management and production engineering were launched.
2000 By the resolution of the Senate of 21 June 2000 the Branch in Bielsko-Biała was excluded from the Faculty.
2002 By order of the Rector of Lodz University of Technology of 27 June 2002 the Department of Production Management was established.
2003 By order of the Rector of TUL No. 13/2003 of 13 November 2003, the Department of European Integration and International Marketing was established.
2005 By the resolution of the Senate No. 4/2005 of 30 March 2005, professional undergraduate studies in the field of European Studies were launched.
2006 By the Resolution of the Senate No. 1/2006 of January 25, 2006, first-cycle studies in the Occupational Safety Engineering were launched.
2015 Obtaining the authorization to provide first-cycle studies with a practical profile in the field of Management Engineering.
2016 Introduction of a new education path in the field of Management in English, general academic profile at the undergraduate level.
2017 By order of the TUL Rector of 29 September 2017, the Faculty of Organization and Management and the Institute of Papermaking and Printing were transformed into the Faculty of Management and Production Engineering.
2019 By order of the Rector of TUL of 1 October 2019, the Institute of Papermaking and Printing was separated from the structure of the Faculty of Management and Production Engineering.
2022 By order of the Rector of 4 November 2021, the Faculty returned to its original name of Faculty of Organization and Management.
