Project Erasmus+  title: “Cooperation partnership for innovation and development of green skills & knowledge enabling transformation and change for greening jobs and enterprises” – acronym: educate4green” - Grant Agreement: 2022-1-RO01-KA220-HED-000085618

University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest in partnership with the EUROTRAINING SOLUTION SRL (Romania), S.C. INFORELEA (Italy), - Lodz University of Technology / POLITECHNIKA LODZKA (Poland) and UNIVERSITY OF RUSE "Angel Kanchev" (Bulgaria) started the project “ Cooperation partnership for innovation and development of green skills & knowledge enabling transformation and change for greening jobs and enterprises”, with acronym educate4green, on December 2022, under ERSMUS+ programme, 2021- 2027.

Through an international partnership between RO, IT, PL, and BG, the project “Cooperation partnership for innovation and development of green skills & knowledge enabling transformation and change for greening jobs and enterprises - educate4green”.
Aims to accelerate the development of green knowledge and skills of students, teachers and practitioners by designing, implementing and scaling-up an Innovative Educational Model framed by transnational, transdisciplinary and forward-looking approaches in business & engineering fields toward greening jobs & enterprises, and a sustainable growth.

The project runs for 36 months and includes 3 objectives:
To decrease the current green skills gap by designing an Innovative Educational Model, that support teaching and learning for green knowledge & skills, and for greening jobs & enterprises.

To strengthen the transformative potential of partners organizations for greening & digital readiness, by engaging of HE learners (HE students, teachers, and practitioners) in peer-learning of forward-looking curricula in a mix of blended learning sessions.

Share the results of Innovative Educational Model and promote transformational changes toward green & digital transition, by engagement of transnational learners in gathering lessons learnt, transnational participants in scaling-up trans-disciplinary and forward-looking approaches in business & engineering fields, for development of green skills and sustainable growth.

Project key governance principle

Project title: “Cooperation partnership for innovation and development of green skills & knowledge enabling transformation and change for greening jobs and enterprises” – acronym: educate4green”

Project key governance principle:

1) The decisions are based on trust, openness, and constructive communication.

2) The partnership shares an internal communication network as openness and constructive as possible.

3) The responsibilities for conflict resolution rely on the coordinator and on the leaders from partners.

4) The partnership commits a proactive style to avoid the escalation process: whenever necessary, each leader identifies the causes of conflict and acts to resolve the issues.5) Communication for reporting and monitoring is done on scheduled basis in Transnational Project meetings TPM for coordination purpose and on quarterly basis in local project meetings – LPM.

Project SCOPE: The project aims to accelerate the development of green knowledge and skills of students, teachers and practitioners by designing, implementing and scaling-up an Innovative Educational Model framed by transnational, trans-disciplinary and forward-looking approaches in business & engineering fields toward greening jobs & enterprises, and a sustainable growth.

This project is achieving through 3 Specific Objectives:

O1. To decrease the current green skills gap by designing an Innovative Educational Model, that support teaching and learning for green knowledge & skills, based on active involvement of students, teachers, and practitioners in surveying learning needs in peer-learning and exchange of experience for greening jobs & enterprises.

O2. To strengthen the transformative potential of partners organizations for greening & digital readiness, by engaging of HE learners (HE students, teachers, and practitioners) in peer-learning of forward-looking curricula in a mix of blended learning sessions, learners in transnational teaching and learning activities, to test and to adjust the Innovative Educational Model, fostering innovation in business & engineering, and the acquisition of skills for greening jobs & enterprises.

O3. Share the results of Innovative Educational Model and promote transformational changes toward green & digital transition, by engagement of transnational learners in gathering lessons learnt, transnational participants in scaling-up trans-disciplinary and forward-looking approaches in business & engineering fields, for development of green skills and sustainable growth.

​​​​​​​Summer School "Test Innovative Educational Model" 24-28.06.2024

Between 24–28 June 2024, the Faculty of Organization and Management at Lodz University of Technology will host a Summer School under the patronage of the Rector of Lodz University of Technology. The main theme of the event will be “Test Innovative Educational Model.”

The School is organized within the framework of the Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnership for innovation and development of green skills and knowledge enabling transformation and change for greening jobs and enterprisesGrant Agreement: 2022-1-RO01-KA220-HED-000085618, project titled Educate4Green.

Topics of the Meeting

The thematic scope of the meeting will focus on the following modules:

Module 1: Green Employment and Enterprises
Module 2: Environmental and Green Market Opportunities
Module 3: Sustainable Patterns & Greening Business

As part of the Summer School, we will build synergy between business and academia within the SCR framework at the international forum. Already today, the following have joined us: CORNING, BSH, GRUPA PIETRUCHA, AMCOR, DOZ DIRECT, TOWER GROUP, LIFE SCIENCE SERVICE ADAM BOGUSŁAWSKI, KELLANOVA, DELL, VESCOM, Lodz Special Economic Zone, ERICSON, MADAME CHROMATIQUE, and DESIGN OFFICE of Lodz University of Technology.

At the Summer School, we will be joined by students and teachers from the University Politehnica of Bucharest (Romania), the University of Ruse (Bulgaria), as well as students from Lodz University of Technology, and trainers from Italy and Romania.

As part of our event, students of the Summer School will take part in a gamification-based competition for the best “Green Roadmap for a Company”, sponsored by DELL. The award ceremony will take place on 28 June 2024 at 9:00 a.m. at the DELL factory in Łódź.
