In Grodzisk Mazowiecki, construction work has started on the Industry Skills Center on the plot at 48 Żyrardowska Street. The designed building will be functionally connected to the existing building housing the Technical and High School Complex No. 2. The new wing will consist of two parts with complementary functions. The first part of the building will be for social, office, and educational purposes. The second part will be a warehouse space where training and practical sessions will be held.
In addition to the building, the project includes the construction of paved parking spaces for passenger cars, paved walkways and driveways to the building, as well as the remaining internal and external infrastructure, creating a comprehensive technical and operational facility.
As of today, foundation works have been completed, including insulation, an elevator shaft has been erected up to the first floor, the foundation for floors has been laid, and the structural walls of the ground floor, along with reinforced concrete columns and beams, have been completed. Works on formwork and reinforcement of the ceiling are also ongoing.
According to the investment schedule, the construction works are expected to be completed by the end of November this year. However, the contractor – Kontur Budownictwo – reports that, due to favorable weather conditions, they plan to accelerate the completion of construction to the end of October this year.
The investment is financed through the European Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF) within the framework of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (KPO).
