3. Scope of studies:

The scope of studies encompasses a number of topics related to business management. Connections between different business functions like accounting, marketing, operations are considered. Basic problems and crucial rules dictating efficient functioning of organizational and economical units are presented.

4. Target audience:

The studies are aimed at humanities and technical studies graduates. The programme renders possible the following:

  • to develop managerial skills in current and future management staff
  • to gain competences to freely establish and develop one’s business
  • to have impact on business functioning effectiveness increase
  • to skillfully use modern tools in business management

5. Aim of studies: 

The aim of the programme is:

  • to perfect managerial skills in current and future management staff to increase functioning effectiveness of organizational units in businesses through thorough understanding of all important aspects in management
  • to skillfully verify the most modern theoretical knowledge required in the Polish business life

6. Learning outcomes: 

Having completed the studies, the student will be able to:

  • present main features of a marketing concept and its role for businesses functioning in consumption, industry and services markets
  • analyse a commercial transaction process
  • differentiate between basic matters related to simple concepts and tasks in accounting in a business
  • form skills for diagnosing personal problems in a company and to solve them
  • identify, classify and formulate internal components creating an organizational unit’s strategy
  • apply selected tools used in a management process
  • characterise the most current, selected legal issues in the area of business practices related to suppliers, customers, charge execution, liability payment etc., the knowledge of which is essential for company managerial staff
  • present and explain basic concepts related to communication, negotiation and effective negotiator development

At least 18 participants required

9. Documents required/recruitment rules: 

  • completed higher education programmes (bachelor’s, engineer’s, master’s, master’s and engineer’s degrees), 
  • paying in at least one tuition fee installment.
